Our Commitment to Sustainability

Port Townsend Paper Company is committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility. They recycle the equivalent of one-third of Washington’s recycled cardboard collection each year and manufacture their paper grades with post-consumer waste. The company also sources residual fiber from certified and sustainable forestry operations to ensure a sustainable fiber supply for the future. Port Townsend Paper has reduced greenhouse gas emissions by over 50% by using renewable carbon-neutral biomass and implementing efficiency improvements. Their sustainability practices aim to ensure the continued quality and availability of resources for years to come.
